Reasonable selection of motor type.YBX4 series motor is a series of products of national unified design, which is the advanced flame-proof three-phase asynchronous motor in China at present, with the advantages of high efficiency, energy-saving and good starting performance. When purchasing a new motor, you should first consider choosing an energy-saving brand, and then consider other performance indexes as needed to save electricity.
Reasonable selection of the rated capacity of the motor. National explosion-proof motor three operating regions made the following provisions: load factor of 70% to 100% between the economic operation of the area; load factor of 40% to 70% between the general operation of the area; load factor of 40% below the non-economic operation of the area. If the motor capacity is selected too large, although it can ensure the normal operation of the equipment, but not only increased investment, and its efficiency and power factor are also very low, resulting in a waste of power. Therefore, taking into account both to meet the needs of equipment operation, the general load factor to maintain 60% to 100% is more desirable.
Energy-saving modification of old explosion-proof motors: (1) Replacement of the motor's external fan, the motor's external fan to energy-saving, for different types of motors, there are corresponding energy-saving fan products to choose from, mainly used for single-direction operation of the 2-pole and 4-pole motors, the efficiency of the change in the range of 1.35% to 2.55%. (2) Adopt new insulating materials to increase the cross-sectional area of the wire. For the asphalt mica tape impregnated insulation of high-voltage motors, in the stator coil overhaul, epoxy glass powder mica tape insulation can be used to achieve the purpose of energy saving.
Variable frequency speed regulation of electric motors. Other continuous speed regulation operation methods are used, using voltage regulators, variable-pole motors, electromagnetic-coupled speed controllers, and frequency conversion speed control devices.
Increase the voltage of the motor. Energy savings can be achieved by reducing the external supply voltage of an asynchronous motor when it is lightly loaded.
Improvement of power factor. Parallel connection of appropriate amount of capacitor for reactive power compensation at the outlet end of the asynchronous motor can improve power factor, reduce reactive power loss and effectively realise power saving.
